When I focus on receiving the light and power of the sun, I am strengthened ..
‘You who are the source of all power
Whose rays illuminate the world
Illuminate also my heart
So that it too can do your work.’
I have always loved the sun. When I was in my twenties and walking near our cottage, I remember being drawn to a certain spot in a field. I stood there for a while, facing the sun, drawing strength from it. I believe that was a message to study my inner light and honour it. If I had known the prayer then , I most certainly would have recited it!! I included the beautiful picture of the child on the beach; children have such open hearts.
No matter who or where we are in the world, we are all part of this beautiful Shining Divine Presence. We can learn to TRUST our INNER SUN and follow our INNER TRUTH. The uplifting picture on the left is from the ” Vision Quest Tarot” , the Native American Wisdom Tarot.
I am strengthened by the sun in all seasons, and all places. There is purpose , illuminating truth, and deep peace as I face it. Thank you, spirit!
